Soleus Air Partners with Sears to Enhance Warranty Service

El Monte, CA; July 20, 2007...Soleus Air International, a leading manufacturer of energy efficient appliances for the home, office, and commercial environments announces today a partnership with Sears to provide third party warranty service.

Sears will now offer third party warranty service for Soleus Air portable air conditioners that are still covered under the manufacturer warranty and Soleus Air products that are no longer covered by the one year Soleus Air warranty. This relationship not only offers an easier way for Soleus Air customers to have products repaired, but it also highlights another competitive advantage for Soleus Air in the portable air conditioner market.

Soleus Air customers will still contact Soleus Air directly for all customer service needs including warranty support. Once customer service is contacted, Soleus Air will troubleshoot the situation and determine if the portable air conditioner is defective and requires warranty service and repair. When it is determined that warranty service is required, Soleus Air will transfer the caller to a Sears third party representative to begin the repair process. Sears will then notify the customer of the closest third party service center to drop off the product.

This relationship is forged to help take much of the burden of warranty service and repair away from the customer. Instead of having to ship units across the United States, customers can now drop off their portable air conditioner at the local Sears third party service center for repair. This relationship will also offer the customer a faster turn around from when they deliver the product to when they receive the product back fully repaired.

This partnership is unique in the portable air conditioner market. Most portable air conditioner manufacturers rely on the customer to ship the product to one of only a few repair centers. Using Sears Third Party service, Soleus Air customers receive faster and more convenient warranty and non-warranty service.
